Yes, ‘what’, not ‘who’, by the end of this writing you will find out why.
First of all I have no intention to hurt anyone’s belief or faith, so if I do please forgive me and most importantly don’t kill me…😉
In my childhood, my father used to recite various religious stories to me. There was something common in all those stories, at the end the ‘God’ comes and does justice.’ Listening to those stories one thing was clear in my mind ‘God is on the good side and he always does justice’. And I grow up praying that ‘justice‘ image of God. Later in life I witnessed the concept of ‘karma’. Isn’t it obvious, if whatever you do comes back to you, there must be someone uploading the records of your deeds in his database, that person (Karma) was God. That’s what I thought. But now I see where it’s all coming from.. There is a voice within all of us, which differentiates between good and bad for us, there is a voice which doesn’t let us sleep peacefully knowing we have hurt someone, the voice that makes us feel empathise to someone else’s pain, that is the same voice which holds you when you are broken, assures you that tomorrow will be beautiful, warns you when something bad is about to happen. It cares for you, wants you to spread love, always be on the right path. That’s exactly what God does for us, doesn’t he? Now I know why people say God is always watching, it’s not God watching, it’s you, yourself, watching.
So, for me, my God is my Conscience.

मेरा खुदा तो खुद मेरे अंदर इन्सानियत बन रहता है।।
