A Sunday Morning

Source: pinterest.com

As the light entered the room from the corners of the curtain, half-asleep, I stretched my arm looking for you. Rolling to your side of bed, I rested my head on your chest, pressed my body against yours and murmured in a sleepy voice, ‘love you’. Taking me in your embrace, you kissed my forehead, I smiled with closed eyes and we get back to sleep.

Suddenly my stupid alarm starts ringing and I found myself alone in the bed. Unlocking my phone I texted you, ‘Good Morning Love‘.

Someday you’ll be here and I’ll whisper it in your ears and indeed it would be a good morning waking up with you.
